I became an accidental housewife, a full-time hospital resident, and a sleep-deprived mum surviving on hospital takeaways. We were down to one income, with a teenager sitting exams, an elderly dog, and a husband away with work - life definitely felt overwhelming.
My daughter needed constant hospital care or oxygen at home, and I had more tasks than hours in the day. But through it all, I learned how to streamline tasks and make the most of my time.
